The New York Islanders, the NHL and NHLPA have teamed up to bring a new Learn to Play initiative to New York. The Future Islanders Program provides boys and girls ages 5-8 with an introduction to the great game of hockey, and serves as a transition program for first-time players interested in playing in a house league.

The Future Islanders Program includes eight on-ice training sessions led by New York Islanders Alumni, Arron Asham and Radek Martinek.
